The nomination portal for the National Awards to Teachers (Higher Education) 2024 was launched by the Secretary, Higher Education Shri Sanjay Murthy along with Chairman, AICTE, Shri T. G Sitharam, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, has issued guidelines for the submission of nomination for the National Awards to Teachers (Higher Education) 2024
National Award to Teachers 2024 in Higher Educational Institutions is given by the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education to recognise the distinctive contributions of some of the finest faculty members in Higher Education in the country and honor them for their dedication and hard work, particularly teaching and pedagogy and its impact which have not only improved the quality of higher education but also enriched the lives of their students
The National Awards to Teachers (Higher Education) 2024 is open to all the faculty members of colleges universities higher educational institutions / polytechnics in India who is regular faculty member, have at least five years of full-time teaching experience in the Under Graduate and/or Post Graduate level and not above 55 years of age as on the last date of receiving application for the awards. Self nominations to be submitted
Each awardee shall be presented with a Medal, Certificate and Cash Prize of Rs 50,000, a total of 35 awards conferred every year
