IIT Madras, India’s top technical institute, has invited applications for first 4 year Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Data Science and Applications with options to exit earlier in the foundation, diploma or BSc degree level
As per the notification released the applications for the May Batch can be submitted till 26th May 2024, Qualifier Phase Week 1 Starts from 31st May 2024, Qualifier Exam are scheduled to be held on 7th July 2024, Qualifier results to be announced by 12th July 2024, Around 29,000 students from across the country are enrolled in the programme
The 4 year Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Data Science and Applications classes are held online with examinations held in physical mode at 150 centres. The 4 year Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Data Science and Applications was launched in 2020 for students to study from IIT Madras without appearing for the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE).
Candidates who has passed Class 12 or equivalent can apply irrespective of age or academic background are eligible to apply, Candidates who have appeared for their Class 11 final exams can apply irrespective of their group / stream / board. Those who qualify can join the program after passing Class 12,
For candidates who have already appeared for or cleared class 12 board exams, the Qualifier Exam result is valid for a period of 3 terms (or 1 year). So, a learner may choose to not join the program immediately after clearing the Qualifier Exam and join in the second or third term following the Qualifier Exam, for more details and apply CLICK HERE
