Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development invite application for Ph.D admissions 2023 – 24

Online applications are invited by the Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development for Ph.D admissions for the year 2023 – 24, The Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development (RGNIYD), Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu, is an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India.

Candidates who have completed PG / M.Phil. programme with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed are eligible to apply, A relaxation of 5% marks or its equivalent grade may be allowed for those belonging to SC / ST / OBC (non-creamy layer) / Differently-Abled, Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the UGC 

Selection to be based on Entrance test, Candidates who have cleared UGC Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and whose fellowship is valid in the academic year 2023-24 are exempted from Ph.D. entrance test, the Entrance test for Ph.D admissions for the year 2023 – 24 to be conducted by the Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development on 24th September 2023,

The candidates who are willing to do Part-time Ph.D. shall obtain a No Objection Certificate from the head of the institution / organization where the candidate is currently employed

An Application fee (non-refundable) Rs.500 to be paid by the General / EWS and OBC category candidates and Rs 200 by SC, ST, PwD candidates, Last date to submit application is 11th September 2023
