Step 2 : Click on Track Your Application Status (CLICK HERE)

Step 3 : Select Escom Name, Enter your Account ID, then click on Check Status

Step 4 : Application status will be displayed, take print out and keep copy for further reference

STEP BY STEP GUIDE TO APPLY

Step 1 : Visit Official Seva Sindhu Portal, click on Gruha Lakshmi (CLICK HERE)

Step 2 : Enter the Account Id / Connection ID, Press Enter, Details of Customer will be fetched automatically 

Step 3 : Select the type of Occupancy (Owner / Tenant)

Step 4 : Enter Aadhaar Number, Once the Aadhaar Number is verified the name will be fetched automatically as per Aadhaar records

Step 5 : Enter the Mobile Number,

Step 6 : Read the Terms and Conditions and Click I Agree

Step 7 : OTP Window will Pop up, Enter the OTP received in the Mobile Number and Validate

Step 8 : Acknowledgement will be generated, take print out and keep for further reference 

The Karnataka Energy Minister K J George said the enrolment to avail of the benefit of Gruha Jyoti scheme offering free power up to 200 units to domestic consumers will start from 18th June 2023, to get the facility of Gruha Jyoti scheme offering free power up to 200 units to domestic consumers, One should enroll through the Seva Sindhu portal of the state government from 18th June 

To avail of the benefit the applicants will be required to provide information regarding Account ID/Connection ID, Account holder name, Account holder address, Type of occupancy, Aadhaar Number, Mobile number for communication

Karnataka State Government has released the detailed guidelines regarding the implementation of Gruha Jyothi – Free 200 Units Electricity,

As per the circular released Under the Gruha Jyoti Yojana, 10 per cent higher electricity consumption limit on the monthly average consumption (based on the consumption of FY 2022-23) of each consumer per household up to a maximum consumption limit of 200 units per month is allowed, to provide free electricity bill amount accordingly and beyond consumption of 200 units.

This scheme has been ordered to be implemented subject to the following conditions applicable to the bill issued from the month of August 2023 for the month of July 2023 electricity consumption.

This scheme is applicable for household electricity connections only. Not applicable for commercial purposes, By deducting the eligible amount of the household electricity user from the bill, the remaining amount is given to the consumer as a net bill and the consumer to pay the bill

Zero bill will be issued to such customers if the bill is less than the eligible unit amount,

Customers who want to avail the facility under this scheme should apply through Seva Sindhu portal, It is mandatory for every beneficiary to link their Customer ID, Account ID with Aadhaar. Beneficiary customers of existing Bhagya Jyoti, Kutira Jyoti Yojana and Amrita Jyoti Yojana will be included under Griha Jyoti Yojana

The arrears of electricity charges due at the end of 30th June 2023 shall be paid within 3 months. If the due amount is not paid within the stipulated period, the connection of such customers to the power plants will be disconnected,
