According to UGC chairman M Jagadesh Kumar the plans for merger of Common University Entrance Test [CUET (UG)] with the entrance exams like JEE and NEET will be announced at least 2 years in advance, so that the students can prepare accordingly
This year the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG will be conducted in 3 shifts in a day rather than 2 shifts a day which was conducted in last year, UGC chairman M Jagadesh Kumar said to ensure the second edition of Common University Entrance Test [CUET (UG)] 2023 is glitch free, the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the National Testing Agency (NTA) are prepared and are taking care of all the issues related to those kind of experiences that the students went through earlier.
He added we will make sure that this time the students have to focus only on Common University Entrance Test [CUET (UG)] 2023 exams and not on any possible glitches, He further added well in advance identifying the centres will be done and by looking at the infrastructure that is available including the computers, bandwidth, technical personnel at the centres the decision be taken
Common University Entrance Test [CUET (UG)] 2023 exams are scheduled to be held from 21st ot 31st May 2023
