Nominations invited for Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Award

Department of Youth Affairs has invited applications for Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Award, A person who have done excellent performance and have outstanding qualities of leadership, a sense of adventure discipline and have continuous achievement in one particular field of adventure that is Land, Air or Water are given Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Award

Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Award is given to recognize the achievements of the person in the field of adventure, encourage young people to develop the spirit of endurance, ready, and effective reflexes, risk-taking, cooperative teamwork, and quick in challenging situations, Awards are given in four categories –  Land Adventure, Water / Sea Adventure, Air Adventure and Life Time Achievement for adventure activities on Land, Sea and Air

Candidates applying for the Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Award should get their applications recommended by the Youth / Sports Department of the State Government concerned, or a recognized adventure institute

The Award is conferred by the President of India on 29th August at Rashtrapati Bhawan, Awardee receive Bronze statuette, a certificate, award money of Rs. 15 Lakhs, a blazer with a silken tie /a saree, Last date to submit nominations is 14th July 2023
