From the academic year 2023 – 24 SSLC / PUC Exams renamed as Annual Exams 1, 2 and 3, Students to be given 3 opportunities to write exams, As per the notification released by the Government of Karnataka, from the academic year 2023 – 24 changes have been made in the SSLC / PUC exams,Â
Every year SSLC / PUC Annual Exams were conducted in February – April 2023, for the students who got failed in annual Exams the Supplementary Exams were conduced in June – July, the exam stress was felt by the students due to this examination system and the failed students were not able to get into main stream of education,
To overcome the exam stress and give opportunity to the failed students to get into to main stream of education, from the academic year 2023 – 24 SSLC / PUC Exams renamed as Annual Exams 1, 2 and 3, Students to be given 3 opportunities to write exams
As per the notification released the students be given option to appear for the SSLC / PUC annual Exams 1, 2 and 3, Candidates appearing for SSLC / PUC Exams to have 75% mandatory attendance,
Private candidates appearing for the SSLC / PUC Exams to compulsory attend Annual Exam 1, Cannot directly appear for Annual Exam 2 and 3,
Candidates who have passed SSLC / PUC Annual Exam 1 and not interested to appear for Exam 2 and 3, the marks card to be issued, SSLC / PUC Exam Marks card to be made available in National Academic Depository (NAD) Digi Locker,
Karnataka board announced the 3 annual exam rule wherein students will be allowed to appear for three board exams and the marks of the best one will be taken into consideration, Changes are aimed at allowing students more opportunities to improve their annual exam marks by retaining the best scores obtained in the first, second and third exams, for more details CLICK HERE
