KSEEB has brought changes in the design of Model papers from 2019 – 20 with purpose to make teachers teach all chapters with equality and bring cognitive development in children’s as in present day the students are more concerned towards scoring of marks rather than learning the concepts, it should be made known to the students that they learn for lives not for just scoring marks, KSEEB doesn’t provide the blue print instead provide theme based marks so that complete content is given equal importance

Social Science Question paper consist of 38 Questions for 80 Marks, It got 8 MCQs for 8 Marks, 8 Very Short Answer type Questions for 8 Marks, 8 Short Answer type questions for 16 Marks, 9 Long Answer type Questions for 27 Marks, 4 Long Answer type questions for 16 Marks and 1 Very long answer type question for 5 Marks, Students to get pass have to score minimum 28 Marks out of 80 Marks,

Basically the 4 Marks Questions are selected from History Theme, out of 9 (3 Marks Questions) four are selected from history, one form geography, one from Economics and one from Business studies, the places to locate map will be asked only from geography part containing places of rivers, natural divisions, projects and other, Question paper is prepared according to the objectives, Equal importance is equal to all level of Difficulty (Easy, average and Difficult)
