Samsung India, in collaboration with the United Nations in India, IIT Delhi, the Foundation for Innovation & Technology Transfer (FITT), and the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, has launched Samsung Solve for Tomorrow India 2025. This initiative is a prestigious innovation competition aimed at nurturing the problem-solving and creative thinking capabilities of India’s youth aged between 14 and 22 years.
The program is designed to challenge and inspire young minds through two distinct innovation tracks:
School Track (Solving for India)
- Eligibility: 14–17 years (as on 30 May 2025)
- Theme: Community and Inclusion
- Objective: Encourage students to develop inclusive solutions that uplift underprivileged communities, enhance access to healthcare, and promote social equity.
Youth Track (Solving for the World)
- Eligibility: 18–22 years (as on 30 May 2025)
- Theme: Environment and Sustainability
- Objective: Support innovative ideas aimed at reducing the carbon footprint, protecting the planet, and promoting sustainable development.

Selected participants will receive mentorship, technical support, and generous grants to develop and scale their innovations:
School Track Benefits
- ₹20,000 for prototype development (Top 10 teams in Phase 2)
- ₹1,00,000 for prototype enhancement (Top 5 teams in Phase 3)
- ₹25,00,000 grand prize for prototype advancement (Winning team in Phase 4)
Youth Track Benefits
- ₹20,000 for prototype development (Top 10 teams in Phase 2)
- ₹1,00,000 for prototype enhancement (Top 5 teams in Phase 3)
- ₹50,00,000 seed and incubation grant (Winning team in Phase 4)
- ₹1,00,000 Goodwill Award (Audience polling winner)
- ₹50,000 Social Media Champion Award (Top social engagement team)
SELECTION PROCESS AND EVALUATION CRITERIA
Applications will undergo a comprehensive, multi-phase screening led by subject matter experts from FITT – IIT Delhi. The selection will be based on:
- Relevance and significance of the problem addressed
- Innovation and feasibility of the proposed solution
- Competence and qualifications of the applicant(s)
- Market potential and commercialization plan
