RGUHS, Karnataka : Applications invited for Ph.D Entrance Exam 2023 – 24

Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka has invited applications for the Ph.D Entrance Exam 2023 – 24 for admission to Ph.D Courses in Medical, Dental, Pharmacy, Nursing, AYUSH, Allied Health Sciences and Physiotherapy faculties for the academic year 2023-2024

Interested and Eligible candidates can download the application for and submit the filled application form along with the supporting documents with the prescribed application fees till 21st April 2023, Last date for online Payment is 12th April 2023 Entrance examination is scheduled to be held on 4th May 2023,

Candidates to register online and also the candidates to take the print out of his/ her application with all the enclosures mentioned in the brochure reaches the RGUHS by 21st April 2023, results to be announced in Second week of June 2023

Candidates with M.D / M.S/ Medical PG Diploma, DM / M.Ch, M.Sc in medical subjects under Medical Faculty are eligible to apply for Ph.D course in the concerned subject 

Candidates with MDS or Dental PG Diploma are eligible to apply for Ph.D course in Dentistry in the concerned subjects only

Candidates with a PG degree in Physiotherapy are eligible for to apply to Ph. D course in Physiotherapy

Candidates with M.Pharm, Pharm-D and Pharm – D (PB) are eligible for apply for Ph.D course in Pharmacy

A s per NMC, the period of training for Ph.D shall be 2 years for the candidates who possess M.D / M.S / P.G. Diploma, DM /MCh, M.Sc and 3 years for the candidates possess M.Sc in medical subjects under the Medical Faculty 

The entrance exam is conducted in two parts namely – Principles of basic Research methodology – Paper – I, Specialty paper – Paper – II

Ph.D Entrance Test shall be of the qualifying nature with qualifying marks as 50th Percentile. The test consists of 2 papers, conducted over two sessions of 3 hours. The syllabus of the first theory paper consists of Basics of research methodology and will be for 50 marks.

The Second theory paper which will be subject specific, preferably with the competence of PG standard, will carry 50 marks, Duration of examination is three hours and separate answer booklets are issued for
each paper

Entrance fees of Rs 3000 to be paid online, Registration fee is not refundable under any circumstances
