To sensitize the school children towards Energy Efficiency and Energy Conservation in domestic sector, the Ministry of Power (MoP), Government of India (GoI) has taken up National Awareness Campaign by organizing Painting Competition for students.
Registrations are invited from the students of Class 5 to Class 10 for the Painting Competition 2023, the theme of competition are LiFE – Lifestyle for Environment, We are Pro-Planet People.
Painting Competition 2023 to be organised by the Ministry of Power in two categories – 5th, 6th & 7th standard students under Group A and for 8th, 9th & 10th standard students under Group B. This Competition is also applicable to schools situated outside India and participants from such schools would be judged separately for the selection of National winners and separate prize money for Group A & B
Students must use A4 size sheet and painting material such as pencil, colour pencils, crayons & water colours. Students can select any one of the theme
50 best paintings each for Categories A & B will be selected by a Committee of Experts, Selected students from Group A & B will be called for two hours on-the spot Painting Competition to be held on 14th November, 2023.
Each participating student from Categories A & B will be paid ₹2000 in cash and a participation certificate, At state level the 1st Prize – ₹50,000, 2nd Prize – ₹30,000, 3rd Prize – ₹20,000, 10 Appreciation Prizes of ₹7,500 each
National Level winners of both Groups ‘A’ & ‘B’ will be awarded prizes by the Chief Guest on the National Energy Conservation Day Function to be held in Delhi on 14th December 2023,Â
Last date for registration to the Painting Competition 2023 by Ministry of Power is 31st October 2023,Â
