The Raman Charpak Fellowship aim is to facilitate the exchange of doctoral students between the India and French, in order to broaden the scope and depth of future engagements in Science, Technology and Innovation
Raman-Charpak Fellowship is the only Indo-French bilateral Fellowship programme jointly funded by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India and the French Institute in India (IFI), French Embassy in India, Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Government of France
The Raman Charpak fellowship is dedicated to highly qualified PhD students registered in an Indian or French Research Institute / University and Master Students from France, It offers PhD students an excellent opportunity to carry out a part of their respective PhD/ Masters’ research project in each other countries, the eligible and interested Students can avail the Raman Charpak fellowship for minimum of 2 months to maximum of 6 months.
For Indian Students Fellowship Support of 1500 Euros per month for daily expenses, local travel, accommodation charges plus Social Security charges will be given, While for the French Students Fellowship support Rs. 40,000 per month for daily expenses, local travel etc. plus accommodation charges not exceeding Rs. 45,000 per month to be providedÂ
Last date to submit online application is 30th September 2023, Tentatively evaluation to be done from October to November 2023, Results to be announced by December 2023, Fellowship to be started from December 2023 to 31st March 2024,Â
