Department of School Education, Karnataka has released the Pratiba Karanji / Kalautsava implementation guidelines 2023 – 24, As per the guidelines released for the students studying in Class 1 to 10 in Government, Aided and Unaided School the Pratiba Karanji programme to be implemented at School, Cluster, Taluk, District, State Level, In accordance with tentative time table released School Level Pratiba Karanji programme to be held in July 2023, cluster Level in August 2023, While the Taluk and District level to be held in September 2023
Kala Utsav is an initiative of the Ministry of Education (MoE) under Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan for the students of class 8 to class 12, to promote arts in education by nurturing and showcasing the artistic talent of school students at the secondary stage
Kala Utsav initiative is guided by the recommendations of the National Curriculum Framework 2005 (NCF-2005), Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) recognises the importance of aesthetics and artistic experiences for students of Class 8 to Class 12, which play a major role in creating awareness of India’s rich cultural heritage and its vibrant diversity.
