NCHMCT M.Sc Hospitality Administration admissions 2025 Applications Open

The National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT), in collaboration with Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), invites applications for its prestigious two-year full-time M.Sc. Hospitality Administration programme for the academic session 2025–2027. Upon successful completion, the degree will be awarded by JNU, one of India’s premier universities.

The programme will be offered across 18 leading Institutes of Hotel Management (IHMs) in India, including renowned institutions like NCHM-IH Noida, IHM Pusa (New Delhi), IHM Bengaluru, IHM Chennai, IHM Kolkata, IHM Mumbai, IHM Hyderabad, IHM Lucknow, and others. This wide network ensures that students benefit from top-quality education, industry exposure, and excellent placement opportunities.

ELIGIBILITY AND ADMISSION ROUTES

Candidates can seek admission through two routes — Direct Admission or through the M.Sc. JEE 2025 entrance examination.

Direct Admission: Candidates must have a degree in Hospitality or Hotel Administration from NCHMCT-IGNOU or an AICTE-approved university, with at least 55% aggregate marks. Additionally, applicants should have a minimum of two years of work experience in a 3-star or higher category hotel (excluding industrial training). Direct Admission seats will be filled first, based strictly on merit and preferences.

Admission through M.Sc. JEE 2025: This pathway is open to graduates from any discipline, with no age restriction. Selection will be based on the M.Sc. JEE 2025 score and subsequent counselling.

M.Sc. JEE 2025 Exam Details

• Exam Date: 24th May 2025 (Saturday)
• Mode: Online (Remote Proctored)
• Time: 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon
• Format: 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), with 1 mark for each correct answer and a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong response.
