In a significant step toward promoting sustainable living and building environmental consciousness among Indian citizens, the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC), Government of India, in collaboration with MyGov, has launched the Enviro Quiz — an interactive, educational initiative aimed at raising awareness about critical environmental issues.
The Enviro Quiz is part of India’s ongoing mission to engage citizens in climate action, wildlife conservation, biodiversity preservation, and understanding of key sustainability principles. This digital initiative empowers individuals to test and expand their knowledge on a wide range of topics including geography, ecosystem protection, sustainable development goals (SDGs), environmental legislations, and India’s flagship environmental programs.
QUIZ DETAILS
Language: The quiz will be conducted in English only.
Format: Participants will be given 5 minutes (300 seconds) to answer a maximum of 10 multiple-choice questions, The questions are designed to be thought-provoking, informative, and aligned with current environmental priorities.
REWARDS AND RECOGNITION
The quiz also offers attractive gratifications to encourage widespread participation:
- The top 25 scorers will be awarded a cash prize of ₹1000 each.
- The next 25 winners will receive a cash prize of ₹500 each.
- Every participant will be honored with a digital certificate of participation, serving as a token of appreciation and a symbol of commitment to environmental stewardship.
