Minority Welfare Department, Directorate of Minorities, Karnataka has invited applications for admissions to 6th std in Moulana Azad Model Schools for the academic year 2023 – 24
As per the notification released for the academic year 2023 – 24 around 1200 Seats are available for admission to 6th std in 200 Moulana Azad Model Schools,
Each Moulana Azad Model Schools are allotted 60 seats out of those 45 seats are reserved for Minority students, 15 for other reservations, Out of total seats 50% of seats are reserved for girls
The students in the age group 9 to 13 years and passed 5th std are eligible to apply for admission to 6th std in Moulana Azad Model Schools
The Documents required to submit application for admission to 6th std in Moulana Azad Model Schools are recent Passport size photograph, Income and Caste Certificate, School declaration, Previous year (5th std) Marks card,
Admission to be done on the basis of Merit and Category, if the number of applications exceed the number of seats then selection to be based on Entrance exam,
The Entrance Exam to be conducted for 100 Marks, it consist of 100 Multiple Choice Questions, Duration of Exam is 120 minutes, Questions to be based on 90% of 4th and 5th std syllabus, the medium of Question paper to be Kannada and English
