The Minority Welfare Department, Government of Karnataka, has announced the commencement of applications for the Residential Pre-Examination Training Program for candidates from minority communities aspiring to join the Police Sub-Inspector (PSI) cadre in 2025. This initiative is part of the Department’s continuous efforts to support educational and employment opportunities for minority youth across the state.
A STEP TOWARDS EMPOWERING MINORITY ASPIRANTS
The Pre-Examination Training Program is a free, fully residential coaching initiative aimed at equipping eligible minority candidates with comprehensive training to crack the PSI recruitment exam conducted by the Karnataka State Police. The program offers academic support, physical training, and interview preparation, helping candidates become more competitive and confident.
KEY FEATURES OF THE PROGRAM
Duration: Training will be provided for duration of 90 days.
Residential Mode: Free accommodation and food will be provided at designated training centers.
Qualified Trainers: Coaching will be delivered by experienced faculty, retired officers, and subject experts.
Holistic Preparation: Includes personality development, time management, and stress management sessions.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Domicile: Must be a resident of Karnataka.
Community: Belong to minority communities (Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain, Parsi) as notified by the Government of India.
Education: Must have completed graduation in any stream from a recognized university.
Age: As per the norms should be between 21 and 30 years.
Training Centers: Mysuru and Belagavi
APPLICATION PROCESS
- Mode: Online applications must be submitted from 10th May to 23rd May 2025
- Documents Required: Academic certificates, ID proof, community certificate, and photograph.
