MANUU: UG, PG, Ph.D, Diploma & certificate courses admissions 2025 Applications Open

Moulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU), a premier central university located in Hyderabad, has announced the commencement of its admission process for the academic year 2025–2026. Applications are invited for regular mode programmes including Ph.D., Post-Graduate, B.Tech, B.Ed., B.A. LL.B (Hons.), LL.B, and various PG Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Diploma, and Certificate courses.

The university offers these programmes through its Hyderabad Main Campus, Satellite Campuses, Colleges of Teacher Education (CTEs), and Polytechnics. All courses are conducted primarily in Urdu medium, making it a unique institution catering to Urdu-speaking communities across India.

APPLICATION TIMELINE

• Online application portal opened on 12th April 2025.
• Last date for submission of online application forms for Entrance Test-based programmes (Ph.D./Professional/Technical/Law/Vocational) is 13th May 2025.
• Last date for submission of application forms for Merit-based programmes is 4th June 2025.
• Admit cards for entrance test-based programmes will be released on 5th June 2025.
• Entrance tests will be conducted on 12th, 13th, and 14th June 2025.
• Preliminary key of all entrance tests will be published on 14th June 2025.
• Entrance test results will be announced between 23rd and 26th June 2025.
• Closing date of admissions for both entrance and merit-based programmes is 31st July 2025.

For all programmes, applicants must have studied Urdu either as a subject or as the medium of instruction at the 10th, 12th, or graduation level. Equivalent Madrasa courses with Urdu as the medium are also accepted, provided they are recognized by MANUU.

SPECIAL ADMISSIONS VIA CUET & NCET

Admissions to Four-Year Undergraduate Programmes (4YUG) and Integrated Teacher Education Programmes (ITEP) will be through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-2025) and National Common Entrance Test (NCET-2025) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

All applications must be submitted online only through the official university portal. MANUU has reiterated its commitment to promoting higher education in Urdu, with a wide array of disciplines offered across its campuses.
