The Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) has released the notification for admission to B.Ed courses for January cycle for the academic year 2022 – 23, As per the notification released Interested and Eligible candidates can apply for the B.Ed courses admission 2022 – 23 in online,

B.Ed. Programme is offered in accordance with NCTE Regulations, The Duration of the programme shall be of two academic sessions/ years. However, students shall be permitted to complete the programme within a maximum period of five years, B.Ed. in ODL mode, is a professional programme for in-service teachers

The online applications from interested and eligible candidates can be submitted from till 26th February 2023 and Entrance Exam is scheduled to be held on 5th March 2023

ELIGIBILITY 

The Candidates with at least fifty percent marks in the Bachelor’s Degree, Trained in-service teachers working in elementary Schools, Candidates who have completed a NCTE recognized teacher education programme through face-to-face mode are eligible to apply

INTAKE

The intake for the B.Ed. Degree Programme at present is 500

MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTION

The medium of instruction is English or Kannada as opted by the candidate

SELECTION

Selection will be made on the basis of marks obtained in Common Entrance Test and seat matrix of reservation.

EXAM PATTERN

There shall be one paper of 2 hours duration, This paper shall consist of 100 multiple choice objective type questions for 100 marks, with four alternative answers, The Common Entrance Test will consist 2 sections – Reasoning Ability and Teaching Aptitude, Each correct answer will get 1 mark and there is no negative marking
