JIPMER is university level entrance exam for admission in the UG and PG medical and paramedical courses at their campuses like JIPMER Puducherry and JIPMER Karaikal. Candidates can fill the application form only after fulfilling the eligibility criteria.

ELIGIBILITY
- Applicant must be citizen of India.
- Any foreign nationality candidate, who is willing to appear for JIPMER have to take the prior permission from the MCI.
- Applicant age must be 17 years on or before 31st December 2021.
- There will be no any relaxation in the category of a candidate.
- Applicant must be secured minimum 50% aggregate in 10+2 with the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology. English Language is considered as mandatory.
- Minimum marks in 10+2 for SC/ST/OBC candidates will be 40% aggregate.
- Minimum marks for general OPH candidates will be 45% aggregate.
- A candidate who has appeared or going to appear in the final examination or an applicant whose result is pending are all eligible to appear for the JIPMER Exam.

JIPMER MBBS exam will beoffline mode consisting of 180 MCQs which has to be completed in 3 hours. The exam will be conducted in one shift. Subject-wise distribution of Questions and Marks is given below:

SYLLABUS
JIPMER MBBS Syllabus covers syllabi of class 11thand 12thas prescribed by the State Boards and CBSE. The exam conducting authority will also release a mock test link on the official website. Candidates should attend mock test in order to get an idea about the exam pattern and their ability. The syllabus will include topics from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
The JIPMER mock test can be accessed using the registration number and password. Candidates must not skip the mock tests released at the official website and for more practice; they can sign-up for some private mock test series prepared by various subject experts.
STEPS TO FILL UP APPLICATION FORM

- There click on the examination link.
- Click on the registration form.
- Enter valid email ID and mobile number for registration.
- Check and click on the login link sent by the authority.
- Enter user ID and Password to log in.
- After login fill up the application form with all the required information.
- Select your category.
- Click on Submit to proceed.
- Upload your scanned photograph and signature in prescribed format.
- Click on the “Preview” option to verify.
- Tick the box “I Agree”.
- Then submit the application.
- Go to the payment option.
- Pay the application fee by Net Banking/ Credit Card/Debit Card
- Take the print out of it for your reference.
DOCUMENTS SPECIFICATION
- Photograph: There must be the name of the candidate and the date on the photograph otherwise it will not be considered.
- Signature: The size of the signature must be 80mm Width X 35mm Height.
- Accessory certificate: Caste or community certificate must be uploaded by the candidate except UR & P-UR category candidates.

JIPMER CUT OFF

COUNSELLING
JIPMER Counseling will be conducted by the institute based on the cut-off and rank. The applicant must be present physically at the place on time with all necessary documents for the counseling. Counseling process involves registration, biometric verification, photo ID verification and certificate checking etc. All the required documents that must be in hand with the candidate for the counseling are listed below:

- Proof of DOB (Birth Certificate/ 10th Marks-card).
- Pass Certificate of qualifying examination.
- Marks statement of qualifying examination.
- Character Certificate from the Head of Institute last studied.
- Residence Certificate issued by the Revenue Authority, not below the rank of Tahasildar.
- Community Certificate for OBC / SC / ST by Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tahasildar.
- Transfer Certificate from the Head of the Institution last studied.
- Residence Certificate only for resident of Puducherry
