The Islamic University of Science & Technology (IUST), located in Awantipora, Jammu and Kashmir, has opened applications for admission to its diverse Postgraduate (PG) programs for the academic year 2025. PG COURSES OFFERED
IUST offers a range of two-year full-time postgraduate programs in fields such as:
- Master of Business Administration (MBA)
- M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE)
- M.Tech. in Electrical Engineering (EE)
- M.A. in Journalism & Mass Communication
- M.Sc. in Information Technology
- M.Sc. in Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry
- M.A. in Arabic, Islamic Studies, English Language & Literature, and Economics
- MCA (Master of Computer Applications)
- MBA (Lateral Entry) – for diploma/PGDBM holders with relevant experience (selection details to be announced separately)
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline with a minimum percentage as specified for each course (usually 50–55%). Final-year students awaiting results may also apply provisionally.
SELECTION PROCESS
- CUET-PG 2025 Scores are preferred for most programs.
- For MBA admissions, the following score preference is followed:
CMAT > MAT > CUET-PG (Paper Code: COQP12) - Selection criteria for MBA (Lateral Entry), M.Tech. CSE, and M.Tech. EE will be notified separately on the university’s website.
- Non-CUET candidates are also eligible to apply. In such cases, selection may be based on either a University-conducted Entrance Test or the candidate’s qualifying examination scores.
APPLICATION PROCESS
- Application Fee: ₹500/- for one program
- Additional Program Fee: ₹200/- per extra program applied for
- Mode of Application: Online via the IUST official admission portal
