As per the sources the with an aim to get a right mix of brains and brawn into the Indian Army, the Indian Army has changed its recruitment process
Army Recruitment Officer Colonel G Suresh said Earlier the Indian Army Recruitment used to have a written examination at the end of the recruitment process, but now its changed, a computer-based online common entrance exam (CEE) will be conducted before the recruitment rally
As per the changed rules for the recruitment of Indian Army physical endurance and medical tests will be held after the written examination, The registration process for recruitment as Agniveer has been started, The Indian army had recently put out advertisements regarding the change in the recruitment process
The Indian Army recruitment will be carried out in 3 stages. In first stage all candidates who have registered and applied need to attend a computer-based online common entrance exam (CEE)
In second stage the shortlisted candidates will be called for a recruitment rally at a location decided by respective Army Recruitment Offices (AROs) where the candidates will undergo physical fitness test and physical measurement test, whereas in the third stage the selected candidates will undergo medical tests
