Indian Army Agniveer Recruitment 2023 notification released

The notification for the recruitment of Agniveer in Indian Army released, the online application can be submitted from 16th February 2023 and the last date to apply is 15th March 2023, Examination is Scheduled to be held on 17th April 2023

The recruitment drive is being conducted to fill Agniveer posts in Indian Army

AGE LIMIT

The Age limit fixed to the post of Agniveer in Indian Army, Candidate born between 1st October 2002 to 1st April 2006 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply

QUALIFICATION

Agniveer (General duty- Men & Women)

The candidates who have passed Class 10th / Matric with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject are eligible to apply 

Agniveer (Tech)

The candidates who have passed 10+2 / Intermediate Exam Pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with min 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject are eligible to apply 

Agniveer (Clerk / Store Keeper Technical)

The candidates who have passed 10+2 / Intermediate Exam Pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% in each subject are eligible to apply 

Agniveer (Tradesmen)

The candidates who have passed 10th / Matric are eligible to apply 

Agniveer (Tradesmen)

The candidates who have passed 8th std are eligible to apply 

APPLICATION FEES

The Examination fee of Rs 250 per applicant is to be paid by the candidate for the online examination, At the SBI portal make payment of Rs 250 plus Bank charges as applicable

HOW TO APPLY?

Candidates are required to submit the applications in online mode only, Agniveer will be enrolled in the Indian Army under Indian army Act 1950 for a period of 4 years. Agniveer would form a distinct rank in the Indian army, different from any other existing ranks. Indian army is not obliged to retain Agniveer beyond the engagement period of four years
