The 4th merit list for the 30,041 Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) [Branch Postmaster (BPM)/Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM)] in Branch Post Offices (BOs)  Schedule-II, July, 2023 has been released by the India Post Department under the Ministry of Communication,

The notification for the recruitment of 30,041 Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) [Branch Postmaster (BPM)/Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM)] in Branch Post Offices (BOs)  Schedule-II, July, 2023 released, the online applications can be submitted from 3rd August 2023, Last date to submit application is 23rd August 2023, Correction window to be opened from 24th to 26th August 2023

Emoluments in the form of Time Related Continuity Allowance (TRCA) plus Dearness Allowance thereon are paid to the GDS are BPM – Rs.12,000-29,380 / ABPM – Rs.10,000-24,470

The recruitment drive is being conducted to fill 30,041 Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) [Branch Postmaster (BPM)/Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM)] in Branch Post Offices (BOs) Schedule-II, July, 2023, The applicant selected as GDS BPM will have to provide accommodation for Branch Post Office after selection but before engagement, The applicant so selected will be required to reside in Post village only, ABPMs are required to reside within the delivery jurisdictions of the Post Office 

The applicants will be shortlisted for engagement on the basis of a system generated merit list which is prepared on the basis of marks obtained/ conversion of Grades/Points to marks in 10th / Class 10
