Google Pay UPI Lite Feature for Pin Free Digital Transactions launched

To make digital transactions a more seamless experience, Google Pay introduced new UPI Lite services on its platform, With UPI Lite feature, users will be able to perform quick digital payments on Google Pay with just one click, without the need to enter the UPI PIN, However in order to ensure the money of the user is safe there are few limitations

Google Pay UPI Lite feature allows a maximum instant transactions of up to Rs 200 at a time, while the account can only be loaded with maximum Rs 2,000, twice a day, Transactions can be performed with the help of a single click, As per google the UPI Lite feature will not rely on real time bank transactions, despite being linked to the user’s bank account

STEP BY STEP GUIDE TO ACTIVATE UPI Lite

Step 1 : On the Google Pay account, go the profile page and click on activate UPI Lite

Step 2 : Follow the account linking process, as indicated

Step 3 : Once the account linking process is done, users can add funds of up to Rs. 2,000 twice a day

Step 4 : If a Google pay user choose to complete a transaction under Rs 200, it will automatically be redirected to the Google Pay UPI Lite account

Step 5 : In order to complete their transaction, the Google Pay user need to choose Pay PIN-Free option
