DHSE Kerala +2 (Class 12) Exams 2025 results out

The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE), Kerala has officially announced the Plus Two (Class 12) or HSE results for the year 2025. The results were declared by Kerala General Education and Employment Minister V. Sivankutty during a press conference, bringing an end to the long wait for lakhs of students across the state.

Students can now access their results on the official DHSE Kerala websites by entering their registration number and date of birth. This year, the Kerala Class 12 board exams were held from 3rd March to 26th March 2025, and witnessed participation from around 4 lakh students.

According to the official data, the overall pass percentage this year stands at 78.69%, reflecting a marginal decline of 0.88 percentage points from last year’s 79.57%.

Among the total candidates, 1,79,952 boys appeared for the examination, of whom 1,23,160 passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 68.44% among boys. The performance gap between genders, though not fully detailed, continues to indicate the need for targeted academic support for male students.

The slight drop in overall performance has raised discussions around academic pressure, learning loss during the pandemic years, and the evolving assessment patterns. While a pass percentage close to 79% still reflects a commendable performance statewide, educationists stress the importance of improving remedial programs and academic interventions, especially for underperforming segments.

Minister V. Sivankutty congratulated all successful candidates and appreciated the efforts of teachers, students, and parents. He also acknowledged the challenging academic environment and reassured continued support for educational excellence in the state.

The Kerala DHSE board remains one of the most robust state-level education boards in India, known for its consistent academic reforms and digital outreach. With the declaration of the +2 results, successful students can now proceed to higher education, including admissions to universities, engineering and medical entrance examinations, and professional diploma programs.

Students who are not satisfied with their scores will have the opportunity to apply for revaluation and supplementary exams, as per the guidelines released by DHSE.

As Kerala continues to lead in educational indices, this year’s results offer a moment to celebrate success and reflect on areas of improvement for an even stronger academic future,
