Bangalore University, Karnataka, has officially announced the admission notification for the B.A., LL.B. (Honours) programme at the University Law College, Jnanabharathi Campus, Bengaluru for the academic year 2025–26. Aspiring candidates interested in pursuing a career in law are encouraged to apply for this five-year integrated programme that blends legal studies with foundational arts education.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Candidates seeking admission must have successfully completed the Pre-University Course (PUC) or Senior Secondary School Course (10+2) from a recognized board. The minimum aggregate marks required are:
- 45% for General Category,
- 42% for OBC students (Karnataka students only, with annual family income not exceeding ₹8 lakhs, excluding Category-I),
- 40% for SC/ST candidates (Karnataka students only).
Applicants who have pursued their 10+2 through distance or correspondence modes are also considered eligible provided they followed a valid and recognized study path. However, candidates who obtained 10+2 certificates without any basic qualification for pursuing such studies will not be considered eligible.
Additionally, the maximum age limit for admission into the B.A., LL.B. (Hons) programme is 20 years.
APPLICATION PROCESS
Candidates must apply online for the B.A., LL.B. (Hons) course, and the last date for submission of the online application is 28th May 2025. After submitting the online form, hard copies of the filled application along with self-attested photocopies of required documents must be submitted to:
