The Backward Classes Welfare Department, Karnataka has invited applications from eligible Students of Backward Classes who are engaged in full time Ph.D study in 2024 – 25 for stipend / fellowship,

As per the notification released the candidates belonging to Category 1, 2A, 3A, 3B,who are engaged in full time Ph.D study in 2024 – 25 can submit the online applications till 20th January 2025

The selected scholars to get monthly stipend / fellowship of Rs 10,000 for 3 years

ELIGIBILITY

The Ph.D stipend / Fellowship for the academic year 2024 – 25 to be given to the students belonging to Category 1, 2A, 3A, 3B who are engaged in full time Ph.D study in 2024 – 25, have scored minimum 55% in Post Graduation, Annual family income of the candidates belonging to Category 1, 2A, 3A, 3B to be less than Rs 3.5 lakhs,

The documents required to apply are SSLC Marks Card, Degree / Post Graduate Marks Card, Income and Caste Certificate, Candidates passport size 2 photo, Post Graduate Convocation Certificate, Ph.D admission proof from the university, Aadhaar Card copy, Bank Pass book copy, Affidavit
