AIISH, Mysuru : Degree, PG admissions 2023 notification released

All India Institute of Speech and Hearing (AIISH) has invited applications for admissions to Under Graduate and Post Graduate courses for the year 2023, It is a premier Institute offering programs related to communication disorders.

Applications are invited from the interested and eligible candidates for admissions to Diploma in Hearing Aid & Ear Mould Technology, Diploma in Early Childhood Special Education(Hearing Impairment), Diploma in Hearing, Language & Speech, Bachelors programmes in B.ASLPB. Ed. Spl. Ed. (HI), Masters programmes in M.Sc. (SLP), M.Sc. (Aud.), M.Ed. Spl. Ed. (HI), Doctoral Programmes in Ph.D. (Speech-Language Pathology) – JRF, Ph.D. (Audiology) – JRF, AIISH Post Doctoral Fellowship

The marks obtained in AIOAT conducted by Rehabilitation Council of India for the current academic year will be considered for selection of candidates, as notified by RCI from time to time, Students admitted to the Diploma program (DHA & ET), DECSE (HI), DHLS Program will be given a stipend of ₹250 per month for 10 months.

Admission to B.ASLP is open to candidates who have passed the 2-year Pre-University examination conducted by the Pre-University Board of the State of Karnataka, Candidates who have obtained a minimum of 50% (45% for SC / ST) in the PCMB group or combinations thereof, in their II PUC or qualifying examination are eligible for admission, An all India entrance examination will be conducted by the All India Institute of Speech & Hearing for admission to the B.ASLP program

Students admitted to B.ASLP program at AIISH will be given a stipend of ₹800 per month for 10 months in a year in the first 3 year

Admission to B.Ed. Spl. Ed. (HI) is open to candidates who have passed any degree examination of the University of Mysore or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the University of Mysore, The marks obtained in the qualifying examination will be considered for selection of candidate Students admitted to the Bachelor of Education – Special Education (Hearing Impairment) program will be given a stipend of ₹400 per month for 10 months in a year.

Students with a BASLP / B.Sc. (Speech & Hearing) degree are eligible to apply for the M.Sc. (Speech-Language Pathology), M.Sc. (Audiology), An entrance examination based on the B.ASLP syllabus of RCI will be conducted at various centres for the selection of candidates, Students admitted to M.Sc. (SLP), M.Sc. (Audiology) will be given a stipend of ₹1300 per month for 10 months in a year

Candidates with a B.S.Ed. (Hearing Impairment) / B.Ed. Spl. Ed. (HI) degree of the University of Mysore or any B.Ed. (HI) recognized by RCI of any other University are eligible to apply for the Master of Education Special Education (Hearing Impairment) – M.Ed. Spl. Ed. (HI), An entrance examination based on B.S.Ed. (HI) / B.Ed. Spl. Ed. (HI) syllabus will be conducted at AIISH for the selection of candidates. Students admitted to M.Ed. Spl. Ed. (HI) will be given a stipend of ₹650 per month for 10 months in a year

Candidates should have passed M.Sc. (SLP) / M.Sc. (Sp. & Hg.) / MASLP / M.ASLP degree examination of the University of Mysore or any other examination considered equivalent by the University of Mysore with a minimum of 55% are eligible to apply for the Ph.D programmes, For selection the Candidates have to pass the entrance examination conducted by the All India Institute of Speech and Hearing, Mysuru

Online applications for B.ASLP and M.Sc (Aud / SLP) can be submitted from 6th March to 31st May 2023, Application fees of Rs 925 for General and Rs 700 for SC / ST / PwD candidates to be paid while submitting application, Computer based entrance exam is scheduled to be held on 25th June 2023

Offline applications for B.Ed Spl Ed (HI) and M.Ed Spl Ed (HI) can be submitted from 6th March to 31st July 2023, Application fees of Rs 625 for General and Rs 400 for SC / ST / PwD candidates to be paid while submitting application,
