Ahimsa Fellowship 2024 is a 8 month full time opportunity for graduates designed to create a network of effective animal protection leaders, Through rigorous and intensive training over the course of 8 months, Fellows gain the knowledge and tools for effective advocacy, policy engagement, and on the ground action
ELIGIBILITY
Candidates who are graduates from any discipline, who are motivated about contributing to the animal welfare / animal rights movement in India can submit the applications, they should be between 21 to 39 years of age as of 31st December 2024, should possess strong communication skills in English and a regional language and be available to attend the 8-month duration of the fellowship programme
BENEFIT
By the end of the 8 months Ahimsa Fellowship 2024 the Fellows will become proficient in dealing with a variety of Animal Protection issues in the country and working closely with state governments and district administrations to capably enforce and implement animal protection laws.
The Ahimsa Fellows will also be well versed in using legal and policy provisions pertaining to animal protection in India
STIPEND
For the first 2 months out of the 8 months, fellows will be credited a stipend of Rs. 10,000 per month. Post that, they will received a stipend of Rs. 20,000 per month
