The final seat allotment result for Karnataka NEET UG 2025 round 3 will be announced on October 27, 2025. Candidates who have been allotted seats must pay the remaining admission fee by October 30, 2025, and subsequently download the seat confirmation slip to complete the admission process at their allotted college with all original documents.

Candidates are reminded that no cancellation or withdrawal requests will be entertained at this stage. The KEA has made it clear that candidates who fail to report to the allotted college, cancel their seat, or do not complete the admission formalities will forfeit their course fee deposit.
The KEA notification also warns,
“Penalty should also be paid as per rules — he/she will not be eligible to participate in the medical counselling of the following three years, including All India Counselling.”
This rule has been introduced to ensure discipline and fairness in the seat allotment process and to prevent wastage of medical seats due to non-reporting candidates.
443 New Medical Seats Added in Round 3
A major highlight of the Karnataka NEET UG 2025 round 3 counselling is the addition of 443 new medical seats across nine colleges in the state. Candidates who had already reported to their colleges after round 1 and round 2 were allowed to participate only for these newly added seats, if they wished to upgrade.
To maintain transparency, the KEA has published a detailed “Transparency List” for round 3 allotments. This list includes both:
- Candidates allotted the newly added 443 seats, and
- Candidates who did not receive a seat in the first two rounds but participated in round 3 counselling.
According to KEA, if students admitted to the newly added seats vacate their seats, those vacated seats will be allotted to other eligible candidates who have not yet received a seat in the ongoing round.
The official notice clarified,
“When students admitted to the newly added 443 seats vacate any seat, those seats will be allotted only to candidates participating in the 3rd round who have not yet received a seat.”
