Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the CIFAR Global Scholars Program 2026–28, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Hold a PhD or equivalent degree.
- Be employed full-time at an institution of higher education or a research organization with responsibilities that include leading independent research as a principal investigator, and supervising or teaching students pursuing their degrees.
- Have started the first post-PhD position no earlier than July 1, 2021, and no later than December 31, 2025.
- Engage in research aligned with the themes and goals of a CIFAR research program.
- Demonstrate fluency in spoken and written English to participate in global meetings and collaborations.
