The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially begun the registration process for the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT 2026) today. Candidates aspiring for admission to AICTE-affiliated management programmes can now register for the CMAT 2026 exam on the official websites.
The last date to register for the CMAT 2026 exam is November 17, 2025, while the online payment window will remain open until November 18, 2025. The exam date for CMAT 2026 will be announced soon by NTA.
About CMAT 2026 Examination
The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to MBA, PGDM, and other management programmes in AICTE-approved institutions across India.
The CMAT 2026 exam will be conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode, assessing candidates’ analytical, verbal, and problem-solving abilities across key sections. The question paper will include 100 multiple-choice questions carrying a total of 800 marks.
The CMAT 2026 question paper will test candidates on the following subjects:
- Quantitative Technique and Data Interpretation
- Logical Reasoning
- Language Comprehension
- General Awareness
- Innovation and Entrepreneurship
CMAT 2026 Application Fees
Candidates must pay the CMAT 2026 registration fee online through debit card, credit card, UPI, or net banking. The fee structure is as follows:
- General (Male): ₹2,500
- Female Candidates: ₹1,250
- Gen-EWS / SC / ST / PwD / Third Gender: ₹1,250
Only candidates who successfully complete the payment process will have their application forms accepted.
CMAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria
The NTA CMAT 2026 eligibility criteria remain the same as in previous years. Candidates must fulfill the following conditions:
- Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Final-year students whose results will be declared before the start of the 2026–27 academic session are also eligible to apply.
- Candidates must be citizens of India.
- No upper age limit has been prescribed for appearing in CMAT 2026.
In the previous edition, 74,012 candidates registered for the exam, out of which 63,145 appeared, recording an attendance rate of 85.32%.
