IGNOU Extends Registration Deadline for December 2025 Term-End Examinations till October 20

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has announced an extension of the registration deadline for the December 2025 Term-End Examinations (TEE). Candidates pursuing Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and Online Programmes can now submit their examination forms without late fees till October 20, 2025. Earlier, the last date to apply was October 6, 2025.

The University has also provided a provision for late submissions, allowing candidates to register with a late fee of Rs. 1100 from October 21 to 26, 2025. Students applying for the examination will need to pay an examination fee of Rs. 200 per theory course while submitting the form.

IGNOU December TEE 2025 Schedule and Examination Modes

The IGNOU December Term-End Examinations 2025 for both ODL and Online Programmes are expected to commence from December 1, 2025. The exams will be conducted in Pen and Paper Mode as well as Computer-Based Test (CBT) Mode, depending on the course requirements. IGNOU conducts the TEE twice every year — in June and December — for students enrolled across India and abroad.
