The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially reopened the CBSE Board Exam 2026 LOC portal, giving schools another opportunity to complete their List of Candidates (LOC) submission. Schools that have not yet submitted their forms can now do so through the official CBSE website
As per the latest CBSE notification, the LOC form submission portal will remain open till October 8, 2025. However, schools that miss this deadline can still submit their forms by paying the late fee till October 11, 2025. This decision comes as a relief to many institutions that could not complete their submissions within the initially prescribed timeframe.
Official Notice Highlights
The official CBSE circular states:
“All Principals who have still not submitted their LOC are therefore directed to ensure that the LOC for their respective schools is completed and submitted within the prescribed timeframe with late fees. The portal will be closed as per above schedule, and no submissions will be accepted thereafter. Schools failing to submit their LOCs by the final deadline will bear full responsibility for the non-compliance and any resulting consequences, including the ineligibility of their candidates to appear for the Board Examinations 2026.”
This statement emphasizes that schools delaying their submission beyond October 11, 2025, will not be able to submit LOCs, and their students may lose eligibility to appear for the CBSE Board Exams 2026.
