The Commissionerate of Indian Medicine and Homoeopathy, Chennai has officially released the notification for Tamil Nadu AYUSH Counselling 2025 for admission to BAMS, BUMS, BSMS, and BHMS courses. The counselling process will be conducted online through the official portal. Eligible candidates can participate in the choice-filling process for Round 1 starting September 30, 2025, at 10 AM.
Tamil Nadu AYUSH Counselling 2025: Important Dates
As per the official schedule, the Tamil Nadu AYUSH Round 1 choice filling and locking will remain open until October 7, 2025, 5 PM. Candidates who successfully fill their choices will be considered for the Round 1 seat allotment result, which will be published on October 10, 2025. Once allotted, candidates must download their provisional allotment order between October 10 and October 17, 2025, and report to their respective institutions on or before October 17, 2025, 5 PM.

Tamil Nadu AYUSH 2025: Choice Filling & Fees
Candidates must pay a non-refundable processing fee of Rs 500 to participate in the Tamil Nadu AYUSH counselling 2025 choice filling. Those belonging to special categories who do not secure a seat under their reserved quota can lock their preferences under the general merit list.
Additionally, students from Open Category (OC), Backward Class (BC), Backward Class Muslim (BCM), Most Backward Class (MBC), Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Caste Arunthathiyar (SCA), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and BC-Christian communities who do not hold a valid family income certificate showing an annual income below Rs 2.5 lakh will need to pay Rs 5,000 online as Advance Tuition Fee.
However, candidates from SC, SCA, ST, and BC-Christian categories with a valid family income certificate (below Rs 2.5 lakh per annum) are exempted from this payment.
