The Government of Telangana has launched the Ambedkar Overseas Vidya Nidhi SC Development Scholarship 2025–26 to empower students from the Scheduled Caste (SC) community by supporting their pursuit of higher education abroad. This initiative aims to provide deserving candidates with the opportunity to enhance their skills and knowledge in reputed international universities, thereby enabling them to contribute meaningfully to the state’s socio-economic development.
Under this scheme, selected students will receive financial assistance of up to ₹20 lakhs, along with additional benefits such as a one-way economy-class airfare and visa fee reimbursement. The application deadline for the scholarship is 31 August 2025.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Ambedkar Overseas Vidya Nidhi SC Development Scholarship 2025–26, applicants must:
- Belong to the SC community and be domiciled in Telangana.
- Have an annual family income of less than ₹5 lakhs from all sources (student or parents).
- Be the only child in the family applying for this scholarship.
- Have secured a minimum of 60% marks in graduation.
- Possess valid GRE/GMAT scores and meet English language proficiency requirements (TOEFL/IELTS or equivalent).
