In a strategic move to foster financial awareness and literacy among Indian citizens, the Financial and Tax Literacy Directorate (FTL Directorate), in collaboration with MyGov, has launched the “Your Financial IQ Challenge”. This engaging and educational quiz aims to empower individuals with essential financial knowledge, helping them make better financial decisions and protect themselves from common money-related risks.
BUILDING SMART MONEY HABITS
The quiz centers around four critical areas of personal finance—smart savings, prudent investments, the importance of insurance, and identifying and preventing financial fraud. These topics are fundamental in today’s fast-evolving financial landscape where individuals must manage not only income and expenses but also navigate complex financial products and online threats.
By participating in the quiz, individuals will strengthen their understanding of how to build a secure financial future, recognize fraudulent schemes, and plan for long-term stability through savings and insurance.
OPEN FOR ALL, FREE FOR ALL
The quiz is open to all Indian citizens and can be taken free of cost. Conducted in English, the challenge comprises 10 multiple-choice questions, and participants are given 5 minutes to complete it. Each citizen is allowed only one attempt, making preparation and attentiveness crucial.
This initiative is part of the FTL Directorate’s broader campaign to enhance financial literacy across all age groups and demographics, promoting a culture where informed decision-making becomes the norm rather than the exception.
