The University of Nottingham – GREAT Scholarships 2025 is an exciting opportunity for high-achieving students from China, Mexico, Pakistan, and Turkey who aspire to pursue a one-year postgraduate taught course in the United Kingdom. This scholarship is part of a prestigious joint initiative by the University of Nottingham, the British Council, and the GREAT Britain Campaign.

A PRESTIGIOUS UK SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY

The GREAT Scholarships programme enables talented international students to study in the UK and supports them with financial aid. Under the 2025 scheme, a minimum of £10,000 will be awarded to four students, one from each eligible country. The funds will be used to reduce tuition fees directly—helping students manage the financial demands of a UK master’s education.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

To qualify for the GREAT Scholarships 2025, applicants must:

Be a passport holder of China, Mexico, Pakistan, or Turkey. Be classified as an overseas student for tuition fee purposes

Hold an offer for a full-time, one-year taught Master’s degree at the University of Nottingham’s UK campus, starting in September 2025, Align with the British Council’s GREAT Scholar profile

Note: Students can apply for both the GREAT Scholarship and regional postgraduate scholarships, but if awarded the GREAT Scholarship, they cannot receive a regional scholarship.

Application Deadline: The final date to apply is 14th May 2025
