OBJECTIVE-TYPE QUESTIONS IN BSEB INTER EXAM 2025
In all three streams – Arts, Science, Commerce, and Vocational, 50% of the total marks in each subject were allocated to objective-type questions. These questions were answered on OMR (Optical Mark Reader) sheets, which are machine-readable and allow for efficient evaluation.

Students who find discrepancies or have objections regarding the provisional answer key can challenge it. The last date for submitting objections is 5th March 2025, by 5 PM. To do so, students must visit the official website and click on the ‘Register objection regarding Answer Key Inter Exam 2025’ link. They must follow the given instructions and provide the necessary supporting documents to justify their objections.
OVERVIEW OF BIHAR BOARD CLASS 12 EXAMINATION 2025
The BSEB Class 12 examinations were conducted from February 1 to 15, 2025, at 1,677 exam centres across Bihar. The theory exams were held in two shifts:
- Morning Shift: 9:30 AM – 12:45 PM (cool-off time: 9:30 AM – 9:45 AM)
- Afternoon Shift: 2:00 PM – 5:15 PM (cool-off time: 2:00 PM – 2:15 PM)
The cool-off time of 15 minutes was provided to students at the beginning of each shift to read the question paper and plan their answers effectively.
Number of Students Appeared
This year, the Bihar Board Class 12 final examination saw a massive participation of 12,92,313 students. Among them:
- 6,41,847 were girls
- 6,50,466 were boys
The large number of examinees reflects the growing academic engagement of students in Bihar and the increasing importance of board examinations in shaping their future educational and career prospects.
IMPORTANCE OF CHECKING THE ANSWER KEY
The provisional answer key allows students to estimate their performance and anticipate their results before the official declaration. It also ensures transparency in the evaluation process, as students can raise objections in case of discrepancies. The Bihar Board is expected to declare the final results after reviewing all objections and making necessary corrections to the answer key.
