Geological Society of India has been organizing Indian National Earth Science Olympiad (INESO) 2025 with the support of Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES), Government of India for the school students of class 9 to class 12, Indian team of students has been participating in Indian National Earth Science Olympiad (INESO) since 2007. The main purpose of the Indian National Earth Science Olympiad (INESO) 2025 is to create awareness about the origin of the universe, evolution of the life on Earth and to encourage students and public to take interest in Earth Sciences, the event been organised in 4 stages – National Level Entrance Test (ET) / Training camp and INESO (selection of the four-member team after 3-week training programme) / Pre-departure Training Camp (1 Week) / Participation in the IESO.
Last date to register is 24th December 2024, and the entrance test scheduled to be held on 25th January 2025 for 90 minutes at 10:30 am in English and comprise objective type of questions spanning Geology, Geophysics Meteorology, Oceanography, Terrestrial Astronomy and Environmental Science, for more details and register CLICK HERE
