Minority Welfare Department, Directorate of Minorities, Karnataka has invited applications from the students of Class 1 to 8 for the Pre Metric Scholarship for the academic year 2024 – 25
As per the notification released by the Minority Welfare Department, Directorate of Minorities, Karnataka applications are invited from the minority students (Muslim, Christian, Buddhist, Sikh, Jains, Parsi) studying in 1st std to 8th std for the year 2024 – 25
ELIGIBITY
The students must belong to the Minority Community (Muslim, Christian, Buddhist, Sikh, Jains, Parsi) studying in 1st std to 8th std for the year 2024 – 25,
He should be a domicile of Karnataka, the students should have scored minimum 50% marks in the previous year final examination,
Total Family income should not exceed Rs 1 Lakh, The 1st std students are considered as fresh students
HOW TO APPLY?
The interested and eligible students to submit online application through State Scholarship Portal, Fill the details and submit the application, The students who have availed the scholarships in 2023 – 24 shall be considered Auto renewal and these students are not required to apply again, Aadhaar Seeding and NPCI mapping to bank account is mandatory to avail the scholarship

The last date to submit Fresh online application for the Class 1 to 8 Pre Metric Scholarship for the academic year 2024 – 25 is 31st October 2024
SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT
The scholarship amount for Class 1 to 8 Pre Metric Scholarship for the academic year 2024 – 25 for Government School Students to be sanctioned is Rs 1000, While for the Private School students from Class 1 to 5 Rs 1000, Class 6 – Rs 2,500, Class 7 – Rs 3,000 and Class 8 – Rs 3,500
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED
The documents required to apply for the Class 1 to 8 Pre Metric Scholarship for the academic year 2024 – 25 are Students SATS Number, Income and Caste Certificate, Aadhaar Number of Student and Parent, Mobile Number
