Indian Navy Trade Apprentice Recruitment 2023 notification released

The notification for the recruitment of 275 Trade Apprentice posts in India Navy in trades for a period of one year at Naval Dockyard Apprentices School, Visakhapatnam, [DAS (Vzg)] for the training batch 2024-25 in accordance with Apprentices Act 1961 released, the online applications can be submitted from 18th November 2023,

Last date to submit online application is 1st January 2024, Examination is scheduled to be held on 28th February 2024, Results to be announced on 2nd March 2024, Interview is scheduled to be held from 5th to 8th March 2024, Interview results to be announced on 14th March 2024, Medical Examination to be conducted on 16th March 2024

The recruitment drive is being conducted to fill 275 Trade Apprentice posts in India Navy

Selection to be done on the basis of Examination, Shortlisting of candidates for issue of call letters would be undertaken based on marks secured in SSC/ Matriculation and ITI, in a ratio of 70:30

OMR based written examination comprises of 50 Multiple Choice Questions (Mathematics 20, General Science 20, General Knowledge 10) in English language with each question carrying one and half (1½) marks would be conducted for a duration of one hour

A total of 275 Trade Apprentice (Electronics Mechanic, Fitter, Sheet Metal Worker, Carpenter, Mechanic, Pipe Fitter, Electrician, Painter, R & A/C Mechanic, Welder, Machinist, Instrument Mechanic, Mechanic Machine Tool Maintenance, Foundryman) posts in India Navy to be filled 

AGE LIMIT

The Age limit fixed to the post of 275 Trade Apprentice posts in India Navy, Age relaxation as per rules, No upper age restriction for apprenticeship training as per Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) office memorandum

QUALIFICATION

The Candidates who have passed 10th / ITI from a recognised Board are eligible to apply
