Telangana NMMS scholarship 2023 registration started

The online registrations for the Telangana National Means cum Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMS) 2023 has been started,

As per the official notification released the students currently pursuing Class 8 in  Zilla Parishad (ZP), local body, Government Schools, Government Aided schools, and Model schools that have no residential facility, have scored at least 55 percent of marks, while SC, ST students must have a minimum of scored 50 percent marks in class 7 examination for the year 2022 – 23, Parental annual income from all sources is less than Rs 3.5 lakh are eligible to apply 

The Last date for registration of applications and remittance of examination fee is 13th October 2023, Last date to submit the printed copy of online registered application forms, Students Nominal Roll (NR) and fee receipts by the head masters of schools concerned in the office of concerned District Educational Officer is 16th October 2023,

Last date to submit  printed nominal rolls attested by concerned head masters, and fee receipts by 3 concerned DEOs to the Office of the Director of Government examinations T S Hyderabad is 18th October 2023

Candidates who get eligible in NMMS 2023 are eligible to receive Scholarship of Rs 1000 per month for 4 years (Total – Rs 48,000), Selection to be done on the basis of Written Exam, consist of 2 papers – MAT (Mental Ability Test) and SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test)
