Directorate of Minorities, Karnataka has invited online applications for Ph.D Fellowship for the year 2024 – 25 (JRF Model) from the interested and eligible students pursuing Ph.D, belonging to Minority Communities (Muslim, Christian, Jain, Buddhist, Sikh, Parsi) in any of the subject from a Government recognised Universities
ELIGIBLITY
Candidates should belong to Minority Communities (Muslim, Christian, Jain, Buddhist, Sikh, Parsi), pursuing Ph.D in any of the subject from a Government recognised Universities,
Candidates parents or guardians annual income should be less than Rs 8 lakh, Age of candidate should be less than 35 years,
WHO CAN’T APPLY?
Candidate working as Government Employee or full time employee in private Organisation are not eligible to apply
HOW TO APPLY
Candidates to submit online application for the Ph.D Fellowship for the year 2024 – 25 (JRF Model) for any one of the Ph.D programmes through Seva Sidhu official Portal
And hard copy of the application along with the required documents to the concerned District Minority officer where the University is located / situated to be submitted

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED
The documents required to submit online application for the Ph.D Fellowship for the year 2024 – 25 (JRF Model) are Previous year Marks Card (SSLC / PUC / Degree / PG), Aadhar Card, Domicile Proof Certificate, Affidavit Duly Notarized for Fellowship in Rs.200 Non Judicial Stamp Paper (Annexure-I), Surety Bond Duly Notarized for Fellowship in Rs.200 Non Judicial Stamp Paper (Annexure-II),
Ph.D Study Certificate Issued by University (Annexure-III) & Bonafide Certificate, Income and Caste Certificate, Candidates Bank Passbook copy, Passport Size Photo, Provisional Admission Certificate/Admission Letter/Registration Certificate to MPhil / PhD Course, University Identity Card, Fee Receipt, No Objection Certificate (NOC) Issued by the University
BENEFIT
FELLOWSHIP
Selected Minority candidates pursuing Ph.D under the Ph.D Fellowship for the year 2024 – 25 (JRF Model) will receive Monthly Fellowship Rs. 25,000 per month for Two years for M.Phil. course, Rs. 25,000 per month for Three years for Ph.D. course
CONTIGENCY
Selected Minority candidates pursuing Ph.D under the Ph.D Fellowship for the year 2024 – 25 (JRF Model) will be given Rs. 10,000 per annum for Three years Ph.D. course as maintenance grant
TENURE OF FELLOWSHIP
3 Years or Course End Date as per the maximum duration allotted to the Ph.D. course by University or submission of Ph.D. thesis whichever is earlier
