JNU PhD admission 2023 under JRF category started

The admission process for PhD program under JRF category (Junior Research Fellowship) for the year 2023 has been started by the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Interested and Eligible Candidates can register themselves for the PhD program under JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) category from 5th July to 4th August 2023

Jawaharlal Nehru University offers admissions in Ph.D. Programmes for academic session 2023-24 through CBT based Entrance Test for Ph.D. Admissions in these Programmes shall be based on the performance of the candidates in Entrance Test (Ph.D.) 2023 and viva-voce marks earned by the eligible candidates taken together, The qualifying marks for General category shall be 50% of total marks and 45% marks for reserved categories 

The syllabus of the entrance test for admission to a Ph.D. Programme shall consist of 50% of Research Methodology and 50% shall be Subject Specific. Questions on Research Methodology may be either implied/intrinsic or explicit

Students who had qualified for JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) of CSIR, UGC National Eligibility Test (NET), ICMR, AYUSH, DBT examinations can apply for the JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) category. Such candidates will not have to appear for JNUEE 2023 for PhD admission, GATE qualified candidates for the admission in the school of Engineering shall be exempted from Computer Based Test (CBT)
