NCERT : Registrations Open for Online Training on Safe Online Communication

Online registrations are open for the Online Training on Safe Online Communication being organised by the National council for Educational Research and Training (NCERT) and Central Institute of Educational Technology (CIET) for Students, Teachers, Parents, Administrators, Teacher Educators and General Public

National Education Policy (2020) envisions the use of technology in Education. NEP 2020 also emphasizes the safety and security of children, including cyber safety and security to provide a pleasant and productive learning space

With the recent shift towards e-learning, and a significant increase in online communications has exposed the risk of cyberattacks, It is necessary for every person to take the responsibility in safeguarding oneself in the cyber world, It is essential for creating a secure and supportive online learning environment for all, To safeguard oneself in the cyber world every individual needs to establish safe online communication practices and school needs to create a secure and positive learning environment 

Online Training on Safe Online Communication is scheduled to be held from 3rd to 7th July 2023, Title of the Sessions are

Day 1 : Online Training on Safe Online Communication

Day 2 : Efficient & Secure Data Sharing

Day 3 : Secure Communication on eLearning Platforms

Day 4 : Responsible & Safe Networking on Social Media Sites

Day 5 : Collaborating & Communicating Safely on Gaming Sites
