The Department of School Education, Karnataka has released notification regarding reducing the burden of School bag for the students of class 1 to 10,
As per the notification released the steps to be taken that the students of class 1 to 2 are not to be burdened with Home Assignments, Awareness be created regarding impact of heavy burden school bags on the health of students

The Karnataka State Government has released the notification regarding providing Boiled Egg / Banana or Groundnut Chikki to the children of class 1 to 8 in all Government and Aided schools of all districts of the Karnataka state for the elimination of malnutrition among school children.
As per the notification released under Mid Day Meals (PM Poshan Shakti Nirman) from 20th June to 15th July 2023 for each student weekly one boiled egg / banana or peanut chickpeas to the children of classes 1 to 8 to be distributed
