The II PUC Examinations for the academic year 2022 – 23 to commence from today (9th March 2023), Department of School Education and Literacy, Karnataka has warned those who spread rumours on social media over question paper leak
Minister for School Education and Literacy B C Nagesh addressing the press conference said the Department of School Education and Literacy, Karnataka will initiate legal action against those who spread such rumours on social media over question paper leak
He added there are people who spread rumours on social media platforms like WhatsApp, Facebook, etc over question paper leak just to create confusion and try to put the pressure on students and parents ,We will initiate legal action against such people and added I request the students appearing for the examination and the parents not to get distracted by such rumours
He further added the Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) has made all the arrangements required under the Safe Examination System to ensure hassle free exams
We have discussed with the Home department and the Police personnel will be deputed near the examination centres to ensure safety and conduct hassle free exams . The treasuries where the II PUC Exam question papers have been stored are under 24 x 7 CCTV surveillance, this year 7,26,195 students have registered for the II PU Exams
