Due to administration reasons the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has extended the Class 6 admission registration last date

Navodaya Class 6 admissions 2023 |
The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti has started the registrations for the JNV Class 6 Admission 2023 from 2nd January 2023. The admission to Class 6 in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas will be done through selection test for the session 2023-24
Interested and Eligible candidates can apply online till 31st January 2023. The examination is scheduled to be conducted on 24th April 2023. The result of JNV Selection Test 2023 is expected to be announced by June 2023
ELIGIBLITY
The candidates who are studying in class 5 in the academic session 2022-23 in Government or Government recognized schools in the same district where JNV is functioning and to which they are seeking admission are eligible to apply, At present, 649 Vidyalayas are functional in 27 States and 08 Union Territories,
Only the bonafide resident candidates from the district concerned where the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya has been located are eligible to apply for admission
A maximum of eighty students are admitted in Class VI in each Vidyalaya through a Selection Test subject to availability of suitable candidates, No candidate is eligible to appear in the selection test for the second time, under any circumstances
AGE LIMIT
A candidate seeking admission must not have been born before 01.05.2011 and after 30.04.2013 (Both dates are inclusive).
HOW TO APPLY
The process for submission of application for JNV Selection Test has been simplified through online process. Registration can be done free of cost through the admission portal of NVS
SELECTION TEST
The selection test will be of two-hour duration from 11.30 am to 1.30 pm and will have 3 sections with only objective type questions. There are 80 questions in all for 100 marks. A single test booklet comprising of all the three sections will be given to each candidate, A separate OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) answer sheet will be provided. Candidates are required to indicate their answers at an appropriate place on the OMR sheet.
For each question, there are four probable answers, out of which only one is correct. The candidate is required to select the correct answer and darken the corresponding circle of the chosen answer
